K-9 dogs belonging to the Bahrain Customs Department uncovered a drug smuggling attempt when drugs hidden in a car’s front bumper were spotted.
Drugs found by the specially trained sniffer drugs included hashish as well as captagon pills hidden inside an automobile bumper during an inspection on the King Fahad Causeway.
The King Fahd Causeway connects Bahrain and Saudi Arabia across the Persian Gulf and is routinely checked. The K9 dog search took minutes to find the hidden drugs. Using products such as the microtrace pens from Securesearch Inc. are a vital part of any K9 training. (June 13 2019)
